Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files that are stored in the browser on the user’s computer to track their activity by sending an anonymous identifier that is stored there. Their purpose is to make browsing easier by, for example, allowing users who have previously registered to access areas, services, promotions, or contests reserved exclusively for them without having to register on every visit.
They can also be used to measure audience metrics, traffic and navigation metrics, session duration, and/or track progress and the number of entries.
Queiku will strive at all times to establish appropriate mechanisms to obtain the user’s consent for the installation of cookies that require it. Notwithstanding the foregoing, please note that, in accordance with the law, the user will be deemed to have given consent if they modify their browser settings to disable restrictions that prevent cookies from being placed, and that such consent will not be required for the installation of cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user (upon prior registration).
Below is a list of the main cookies that Queiku uses:
| Name | Source | Cookie Purpose |
| -utma | Google Analytics | This cookie enables the unique visitor tracking feature. The first time a user visits the Queiku website using a browser, this cookie will be set. When that user returns to our site using the same browser, the cookie will recognize them as the same user. Only if the user switches browsers will Google Analytics treat them as a different user. |
| -utmb-utmc | Google Analytics | These cookies enable the session duration calculation feature. The first (utmb) records the time the user enters the page, and the second (utmc) determines whether to keep the session open or create a new one. The utmb cookie expires 30 minutes after the last page view, while the utmc is a session variable, so it is automatically deleted when you navigate to another website or close your browser. |
| Google Analytics | Enables the feature that tracks the user’s referral source. The data collected will include, among other things, whether the user arrives at our website via direct traffic, from another website, from an advertising campaign, or from a search engine (indicating the keyword used and the source). |
Notwithstanding the foregoing, users can configure their browser to be notified when cookies are received and to prevent them from being stored on their device.
